I’ve decided not to renew my hosting for this site when the time comes for several reasons. I’m moving to a cheaper host and I bought a new domain name. I will be moving all of my downloads to dropbox and they will be available that way from now on instead of uploading them onto the server I have to pay bandwidth usage fees for.

I only have about a month to get this done before my current domain name expires so there may be a short time where stuff is missing but I have everything saved so it should be ok. I’ll get to it eventually.

I’ve had this website since 2005 and I really haven’t had any troubles with my host but I think it’s time to move on (plus I’ve turned into a cheapskate in my old age, lol.)

I am overrun with spam in the comments right now. I’m working on cleaning it all up after nearly a year of neglect so bear with me and trust that I’m working on it. I don’t see me firing up the game any time in the near future but I will leave everything on this site up for download as long as people keep downloading (and you are! Still! Thanks so much!) Anyhoo, I’m trying to filter spam from regular comments but if a legit comment gets lost in the shuffle I apologize in advance.

Update: I have updated WordPress and I made an oopsie by updating a bunch of plugins all at once and now have a beeyootiful line of question marks up top there. The spam should be calming down a little and I will be working on the question marks.

I have been horribly neglectful of the site lately and honestly I haven’t had time to play the game at all in the last few months. Maybe soon! Recently in the comments Margaret pointed me to a new painting from the show that I’m going to try to find time to add to the gallery soon. Thanks Margaret! Until then, here’s a puppy:

If I’d had my wits about me when we were remodeling our kitchen almost 10 years ago I would have pushed harder for linoleum. Really. It comes in a bazillion colors, is easy to clean (if you get a smooth finish) and is fairly timeless, I think. Plus you can create crazy patterns or have one solid color. The possibilities are endless. But instead we went with the trend of the time and ended up with 12 inch square slightly pinkish hued ceramic tiles that I have come to loathe.
