All of my “creations” so far have been made with all expansion packs installed except Bon Voyage and no Stuff Packs, using SimPE’s Photo Studio plugin. SimPE was created by Quaxi, Numenor, RGiles and JWoods and all thanks go to them.

Update June 14, 2009:I’ve added expansion packs since I wrote this so to update, I now have all expansions plus Glamour Life, Teen Style, Kitchen and Bath, IKEA and Mansion & Garden Stuff Packs. Everything added to the site from this date forward will have been made with the above expansions and stuff packs. Enjoy!

Installation:

Unzip files to:

* If you are using Windows XP your Downloads folder can be found here: ~\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\
* If you have Windows Vista, the Downloads folder is here: ~\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\
* If you are on a Mac, the Downloads folder is here: ~\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\

If you don’t have a Downloads folder well then I am honored that my stuff will be the first custom content you install ;) Just make a new folder in your “The Sims 2″ directory and name it “Downloads”.
Mainly I will just do Maxis painting recolors and I will try to remember to state in the post which Maxis painting the recolor will belong to. I have already forgotten to do this twice, heh. So just look through the Maxis paintings for my recolors or fill out the form below and I’ll update the post with the info. If it doesn’t show up then you probably don’t have a required expansion pack and there’s nothing I can do about that.

If I ever upload any houses, they will be in Sims2Pack format within either a .zip or .rar file. To extract from .rar, you need a program like WinRar. The download says it’s a free trial but it works after the time is up, you’ll just see a splash screen when the program starts. For the Mac, I like Stuffit Expander. Once the Sims2Pack file is extracted from it’s .zip or .rar archive, all you have to do is double click on it and it will install itself. I highly recommend you get Sims2Pack Clean Installer though and set it to be the default installer for Sims2Packs. It has a ton more options than the installer that comes with the game. It is for Windows only. For the Mac, there’s an older program that hasn’t been updated in a long time (but works fine for me on my Intel Mac with all expansions and Stuff Packs) called WooHoo. You can find it here. Keep in mind that it’s unsupported.

The readme file that’s in some of my downloads can be ignored. I thought at the time that you had to have a readme file in each download and while I would be very disappointed to find my stuff on a paysite, in the end it’s just Maxis recolors so, whatever.
